REI aimed to elevate its Outside Festival 2026 presence by bringing back the Member Outpost as an exclusive destination for members. Objectives focused on rewarding membership, fostering community, and deepening brand engagement through premium amenities, member-only perks, and elevated festival experiences.members to relax, connect, and celebrate the outdoor lifestyle.

GSXM designed and produced the REI Member Outpost, an exclusive members-only destination that transformed REI’s festival presence into a premium hospitality experience.

The space rewarded membership through exclusive merchandise giveaways, complimentary snacks and hydration, comfortable lounge seating, and elevated main stage viewing. Purposefully designed to reflect REI’s outdoor ethos, the Outpost incorporated immersive branding and community-driven gathering spaces that encouraged members to relax, connect with fellow attendees, and engage with the brand in a meaningful way throughout the festival.
