Groundswell Experiential caught the attention of busy travels by fabricating eye-catching pop-ups for three of Pernod Ricard’s celebrated brands; Jameson Irish Whiskey, Absolut Vodka and the Martell Cognac Collection. Leaning into the traditional materials and friendly atmosphere of an authentic Irish bar, we fabricated welcoming pop-ups that had travelers at JFK and O’Hare feeling like they had a layover in Dublin. It was easy to bring the exclusive yet inclusive world of Absolut Vodka by leaning into the brands flashy, bright, out and open aesthetic for travels first or last photo moment from Las Vegas. Telling the sophisticated story of Martell’s award winning cognac collection was told transparently through a hands on exploration of how spirits is crafted — quite literally allowing travelers to touch, smell and feel the ingredients. The experience concluded with a custom bottling engraving that would title all the stories that bottle would soon tell.
Execution
Pernod Ricard saw increased duty-free sales with key airport account partners all while catching genuine lighthearted social content moments and a much needed sample for thousands of busy jetsetters navigating a heavy day of international travel.
