Challenge
Rhode Island sought to raise awareness of the state's unique outdoor offerings among a like-minded audience of adventure seekers and travelers. The challenge: showcase the breadth of experiences, from scenic trails and beaches to the famed Cliff Walk, historic mansions, and iconic lighthouses, while positioning Rhode Island as a must-visit destination for outdoor exploration.

Groundswell designed and produced a 20' x 20' immersive destination that brought Rhode Island’s most iconic outdoor experiences to Denver. The space featured a Cliff Walk-inspired installation with a scenic coastal backdrop, creating a visually compelling centerpiece for festival attendees.
A beach-themed lounge with sea-scented misting fans and charging stations offered a welcome place to relax, while destination content showcased Rhode Island’s beaches, trails, lighthouses, and historic landmarks. Interactive photo opportunities, trip giveaways, and Del’s Frozen Lemonade packets provided engaging touchpoints that helped educate attendees and inspire future travel to the Ocean State.
